Hi Kim and Megan- Thanks for answering my questions recently. I kno wyou are very busy and I appreciated the time you took to respond! Also, thanks for the reposting-the previous yellow color was hard to see. Many thanks! One more question-your HFWords, do you laminate each child's word ring? I have to have several levels in my classroom (differeniated teaching) and was wondering if you keep the word rings from year to year and just change the name on the front? maybe you already answered this before. Thanks again- Maryann brennemm@carlisleschools.org
Hey Maryann, I do laminate and reuse the HFW cards. The kiddos start off with an empty ring. I only add the words they know and 3 that they don't. Go back and see if I explain that in the HFW post. Sometimes when I am explaining things I think it is clear, but not so much! lol
Karen, The pages comes from Jazzing Up Journals. It can be ordered through my website. www.adsit.net. It is not on tpt. The cover is different as I changed mine to match my class theme. The one in the packet is more generic.
i have the same words that you put on your bus, i believe i got them several years ago from ABC Teach! Thanks for sharing exactly how you implement all of these wonderful ideas in your classroom.
What a great idea of the word list. I love the idea of making them "think" they were choosing those important words that we work on for those standards! I am doing science journals this year, so I can incorporate this into my journals. I just love going to your blog and revamping some things that I already do. Headed into school tonight to revamp my sight words system. I will share later!! BusyBees
The words are from ABC Teach, but you can also create very similar word cards using the computer program Board Maker or Symwriter. I love reading your blog! My co-teacher thinks I'm far more creative than I probably really am when I use all of your wonderful ideas! Thanks!
Hey Brooke, I have a post it note on my computer where I am making a list of things people want posted! With being so new, there are just tons of things I want to get on. I will try to get it posted this week.

Hi! I love reading your posts! Can you post or tell me where to find the cover and vocabulary sheets to make the ABC chart of words? Thanks
