Megan said...: I have spent the last two days going through each post since you created this blog, and you ladies are AMAZING!!!! Your entire tpt store is on my wish list. :) One thing I want to have clarified- you do NOT have table spots for the kiddos at all? Do they do their writing on the floor then, use clipboards, or do you have them go to other tables that are spread out in the classroom? My classroom is very small, so I am incredibly interested on how you manage this. (I just want to make sure I understand it before I get ahead of myself and try to implement it.) Kim and Megan said...: Megan, My kiddos do not have a table spot. I do have 3 tables that we use, but the kids aren't assigned a seat. The tables are used for center activities that can't be done on the floor. Some kids write at the tables but some kids use lapboards or clipboards to write on. They love to work on the floor the best! I made my lapboards from "shower board" that I got at Home Depot.; June 3, 2012 at 1:02 PM

Kim is a retired kindergarten teacher! She taught kindergarten for 30 years and now works as a national presenter. Now that she is retired, she spends her time volunteering in Meagn's room. When she isn't working at Megan's school, she loves to garden and spend time with her family. She and Andy, her husband, have two children, Megan, who is married to Nick, and Tyler, who is married to Ginny. That also have a beagle named Katie Ann. Megan followed in her mom's footsteps and is also a kindergarten teacher. She loves building relationsips with her kiddos and their families. When she isn't teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family. She is married to Nick. They enjoy all the GA sports teams! She and Nick have a miniature dachshund named Lily Grace.
