Hello Kinder Gals!
This post is totally off topic but I know that you will be able to help me with this. This September I will be teaching a full day Kindergarten program and I have never taught Kindergarten before! I have spent the last 5 years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade. I have two questions that are really on my mind. First, how do you manage those little ones who don’t want to leave their parents on the first “scary” day of school? Second what does a typical first day of school look like in your classroom? Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. I thoroughly enjoy reading your blog, your ideas are creative and fun.
I think I’m more worried about the first day than some of my students will be.
